Ed Conroy is the head men's basketball coach at The Citadel. He is beginning his third season at the helm of Bulldog Basketball. Conroy, a 1989 Citadel alum, returned to the Bulldog family in April 2006 as head coach for The Citadel Basketball program, his first Division I head coaching position.

Les Robinson is a former basketball coach and former athletic director of The Citadel. Robinson is a graduate of North Carolina State University (1965) and Western Carolina University (1968). He has coached basketball at NC State, WCU, and East Tennessee State University.
